This section was originally intended to cover early pressed glass toys or miniatures such as the child's cup in the lower left (with a quarter next to it to provide size perspective). These toys were made by many glass manufacturers, but most notably the Boston and Sandwich Glass Company.
However, given the advent and popularity of the advertising collectable -- such as Taco Bell's Star Wars paraphenalia pictured left and below -- this category has expanded to cover other toy items.
As an active collector of glass miniatures I come across other interesting toys, both antique and advertising collectable, that will be listed here. In the past we've had antique lead soldiers and baseball players, 1960s plastic vehicles, and more (and yes, far too many fast food collectables, including beanie babies, because once upon a time, the mrs. thought those, too, were "cute"). Please check back regularly for new listings.
